There are many Schools of Jyotish like Parashara, Jaimini, KP, Bhrigu etc. Different Vargas are special charts for a special area of Lifelike Dashamsha for Job and Bussiness. Saptamsha for Progeny and Children. There Are nine graha, twelve zodiacs, twelve houses and 27 Nakshatras in Jyotish. Zodiac and Nakshatras are like energies and planets or grahas are like Divine beings. Every Graha is related to Avatar of Vishnu or other Deities. Surya or Sun related to Rama, Moon Chandra To Krishna, Mars or Mangla to Narsimha, Mercury or Budha to Budha himself, Jupiter or Guru to Vamana Avatar, Venus to Parushrama, Saturn to Kachap Avatar, Rahu to Varaha avatar and Ketu to Matsya Avatara of Lord Vishnu. Every Rashi also related to a Form of Sun God, 12 Adityas. Every Nakshatra also related to Deities and mythological stories. This makes Jyotish super interesting and full of divine knowledge. You must know Upanishad, Puranas to understand Jyotish.  Astrology only suggests certain possibilities, which may or may not come true. There is no magic. You can only suspect something based on the chart and try to live accordingly. You do remedies but results are not in your hand.
